Helen Edwards lives in Northumberland with her Texan husband Dennis, not far from where she grew up. After spells in various jobs, Helen’s main career was as a senior theatre nurse. When she had to give that up because of serious back problems, she trained and worked as a psychotherapist and hypnotherapist in her own practice. When in Texas, Helen and her husband started their own antiques business. She has two grown-up children, is now happily retired, and enjoys days out with Dennis in the beautiful Northumberland countryside.
Jenny Lee Smith lives in Kent with her husband Sam Lucas and their three children, one of whom they adopted as an abandoned baby in Romania, where Sam spent many weeks, donating his time, expertise and materials to renovate a children’s hospital. After a successful career as the top professional woman golfer in Europe (see her Wikipedia page), Jenny became the pro and coach at a golf centre named after her. More recently she has taken up a new hobby/career breeding toy rat terriers – the only breeding pair in the UK.
